Lee Chrisman, and currently conducted by Edward J Madden, the Boston University Alumni Concert Band (BUACB) was created to serve as the musical ensemble for Boston University Commencement exercises. Since its inception in 1979, the BUACB meets occasionally throughout the year, to rehearse, read, and perform. The band regularly travels in the US and has also toured Portugal and the former Yugoslavia.
